The challenge: a workaround that held the team back
Salisbury needed to keep a large workforce informed while meeting NHS email security requirements. The original case study describes a team sending more than 100,000 internal emails each month to around 5,000 employees.
Creating emails in NewZapp and forwarding them through Outlook added time to the process. It also limited personalisation and left the team without the engagement insight needed to improve campaigns.
The solution: developed with NHS partners
NewZapp worked with Salisbury and five other NHS partners to develop Trusted Delivery. The solution brought NHS-focused delivery together with audience segmentation, personalisation and campaign reporting.
Instead of treating delivery as a separate workaround, the team could bring creation, sending and measurement into one workflow.
The results: confidence and visibility
The published case study reports a 60% open rate and continued delivery of more than 100,000 emails monthly. Reporting gave the team a clearer view of engagement, helping them refine future communications.
These are results from the original case study, rather than a forecast for other organisations.
Recognition for the communications team
Salisbury also received an NHS Communicate Award for internal communications and staff engagement, recognising its Reflections on Pandemic project.
What could your team do with fewer workarounds?
Start by looking at the steps between a finished draft and a message reaching colleagues. Where does someone copy content, reformat a newsletter or forward it through another system? Which parts of that process leave you without a useful campaign report?
Bring those questions to a demo. We can explore your sending requirements, show how you would create a staff bulletin and walk through the reports you would use afterwards. Your communications and IT colleagues can review the workflow together.
